Corel Video Studio. And yes. It can download a DVD into its editor and then you can do anything you'd do with original video footage. When we've cruised we've sometimes bought the official DVD on the ship and then used it to edit bits into our our footage to make our own personalised video of the trip.
Is your Corel Video Studio a v5 / 2010 or whatever, please. Will then check out e-Bay etc in case I take that route.
The version I have is X7 pro

Manoverboard, do you need the jpegs to be of high quality? If not and you can freeze the picture with decent quality and clarity then why not use the in built in window snipping tool. I have used this for presentations and social media were the definition did not have to be perfect.
Thanks Ken,

Hadn't heard of that one but soon located it .... typed an ' S ' and your snipping tool appeared even though unlisted.

Also followed the Apps down to ' Snip & Sketch ' which says that by presssing the Windows Logo + Shift + the letter ' S ' it will capture the image on screen. Question as yet unknown is will it work with Window's DVD program.

Thanks for that, will advise the outcome

COSMIC, well done Ken

The Pic below is Jpeg via a DVD using ' Snip and Sketch ', it is of Washington's Springtime Blossom .....
