Nearly half a million in legal aid for PC Harpers killers, that's probably more than the entire UK travelling community pay in taxes in a year! It just reinforces my belief that the only people to benefit from the UK justice system are the legal profession.

And, of course they will continue to make money by representing these disgusting characters whilst in prison, working on their appeals processes and representing a community who know every trick in the book. I resent my taxes going to sections of society who abuse the society they live in.

As for Black Lives Matter I never saw colour when dealing with people. It didn't matter to me what colour people were but since BLM I am more aware of the destructive nature of some of these migrants and their offspring who seek to destroy the British way of life, our culture, our traditions and our heritage and to replace it with their own. I think enough is enough.
I see Hamilton will not be boycotting the next F1 race in support of his black 'brothers' following the shooting in America. Perhaps money and the points loss matter more to him than his principles on BLM. It makes a mockery of him 'taking the knee'.

I cannot think of any other than relatives, my wife's cousin is married to an Indian doctor, but my BIL, who is probably far more racist than I have ever felt, regularly invited black friends to his parties, go figure that!

I can only think of four ...

A Barbadian gent, friend of a friend, was invited to our first home when we celebrated out first wedding anniversary but he later blotted his copy book by having an affair with the wife of our neighbour. Our two sons tried to teach us about integration by getting married to lovely ethnically diverse girls but both ended in divorce due to culturaal differences. The only success story that I can think of was a friend of No 1 son, this time a cracking Cheshire lad of Pakistani parentage.

An amusing story about racial tolerance.

Some years ago my grandmother was showing me a photo of my dad when he was at school, and this would be going back to the 1930s. She pointed out the fact that his best friend at the time was the lad with a bandage around his head - not the only black lad in the class.

A colleague at the Jail was accused and subsequently charged with a racist offence. At the disciplinary hearing he sat and listened to the accusations, when asked if he accepted the charge he produced his wedding photos, asked if they thought he was racist and walked out. His wife is one of the darkest black people you would ever see....found , no charge to answer. Management need to research their staff before jumping to conclusions.

I'm afraid I do not understand why people from different cultures want to come to this country and then change it to the culture of the land they have just left.
I have the same attitude towards Scots, Welsh or Irish (or any other national) who come to live in England (or English living elsewhere cos it must happen in reverse) who persist in telling us all what a wonderful place their homeland is. I tend to think if it's so wonderful what are you doing here.
Having lived in Germany for 15 years I took the opportunity to enjoy what Germany had to offer, to fit in with their community, speak the language and share their culture. This philosophy conflicts with what we are experiencing nowadays eg Finnish conductors who try to change something we have done for years which is a British tradition simply because she supports a particular political ideology.
(I don't subscribe to the traditional albeit eccentric antics or dress of the prommers but if they enjoy it what does it matter? Leave them alone!!!)

Once again the latest innocent black victim in the US in not so innocent as portrayed by his supporters.

Yes seven shots is undoubtedly over reaction.

But contrary to earlier reposts he was not unarmed. He admitted to having a knife. It was found on the floor of the car, where he was reaching towards when he was shot, having refused to obey police instructions. And the police were there because of a 911 call from his girlfriend.

I'm utterly against racism but BLM choosing examples such as this as their figureheads will never win the argument.

My cousin has lived in California since 1966, he tells some horrendous tales, his son in law was a Cop, not many innocent victims of Police shootings.

Or where you would feel happiest. Nobody makes you stay.
I'm also getting fed up with hearing the term "white, middle class men". In any other context the wokes would be jumping ten ways at once proclaiming racist, elitist and sexist. Considering what an intolerant, racist country we are why are they queuing up at Calais to come in and why are they not queuing up to get out?

I couldn't have said it any better so I've lifted this...,

No, it does not. At last a European leader has stood up and said what the rest of us know. The problem with allowing other cultures to come in to a country and try and live alongside the indigenous population is that the incoming culture invariably gets an awful lot of breaks in order to 'integrate'. This of course doesn't work, the incoming culture having got its foot in, now proceeds to build an enclave in the various areas they populate making no attempt whatsoever to mingle with the local population, this causes a lot of resentment and distrust.

This can be seen in almost any European major city and it is very marked here in the UK. Multiculturalism is an absolute disaster, the question of course is how do we deal with it now? We have established communities now demanding to be allowed to live as they would in their own countries regardless of whether or not it is legal in their adopted country, that is wrong. Immigrants to host countries must speak the language and adopt the ways of the host county or there will always be problems.

There are no upsides to multiculturalism, there is nothing wrong with those from different countries living together as long as the rules of the host country are abided by, once the immigrant culture starts to impose itself on the indigenous culture then there is going to be problems, and forcing it upon people has quite clearly had a disastrous affect. I expect this will be viewed as racist, but it simply isn't, its the way things are and for too long especially the UK these opinions have been swept under the carpet, and those saying it are labelled 'extreme'. This isn't the case, its a straightforward observation made by those without blinkers on.

Well done Chancellor Merkel, someone had to say and its about time other European leaders stood up for their countries citizens rather than listen to hysterical advisors
