There are some of us who have been responsible throughout all of this who have, for the first time in the last six months, arranged a break over both of these periods.
A lot of the responsibility for the behaviour of the younger generation lies with the venues that the visit. There is no reason why the venue, apart from money grabbing, cannot (in fact it is legal requirement) enforce social distancing. If you go into a pub, you sit at a table and are served. If a venue is not adhering to the law then the remedy is simple - shut the place down, fine the licensee and revoke their licence - the police have these powers.
