In the early days of Covid we went to Aldi but only one customer was allowed in at a time so I opted to wait outside. There was literally a young slip of a lass on the door and she was a right tartar. I was mightily impressed as she let nobody in unless they followed her rules.
Anybody forcing their way in should be made to pay by credit card and their details passed to the police for prosecution. Hand out a few 3 figure fines and the message would soon get round.
Evidence of medical condition only should give exemption - and that excludes baldies from Essex and Theresa lovers!!! They are not medical conditions!!!

One would hope Covid Marshals will be issued with body cams which could be another means of deterring those who breach the face covering rules, although to be honest John, I don’t think many are flaunting the rules where entering enclosed venues are concerned.

With regard to the 6 person rule… this will be hard to police, especially where it happens behind closed doors but the message is out there and one can only hope that those who do follow the rules will set an example to those who wish to do otherwise.

Sadly the greatest ally that COVID has in this war is human stupidity - something that appears to exist in abundance.

I was talking to my cousin yesterday who lives in one of the Manchester hotspots and she was saying that the main problem is with Asian males who just don't bother about masks. Apparently when they get on a bus as soon as they are past the driver the masks come off - or at best go round their chin.

That’s down right racism Stephen but well done for saying what most of us think…those that except our rules and values are welcome, those that use and abuse them should be shone the door.
