Happy birthday.

Stood aside long enough. Looked up Culross, never been there myself Happy, but it looks like a nice oldie world type of place, the sort of place that may attract lots of tourists in the summer. Too far from me for a day trip.

Short story, my recent change of blood pressure medication has been giving me heart pulpitations. Last night was really bad. Felt like my heart was going to jump out my chest.

Phoned docs this morning telling him the story, expecting him to just change my meds again. Next thing I know, as a precaution he wanted me to dial 999to eliminate any heart problems before changing meds again. So after an ECG in the house by the ambulance bods it was off to hospital. Although the reading was ok there was what as known as a arrhythmia (heart skips a beat now and again).

After spending the best part of the day there I came home. Basically I was told to stop current meds which where the cause, a change of lifestyle and contact GP again, who already said he would contact me tomorrow.

I already exercise by walking over half a mile each day just to stretch the legs.

The strange thing is when the ambulance bods had me hooked up to thier ECG machine at home and to the hospital the arrhythmia was present all the time, yet when the hospital done a ECG it showed all was normal.

To me, even this morning it still doesn't feel right. Nothing like the last few days but still feels like the old ticker is skipping the occasional beat.

Will see what the doc has to say when he phones later today.

A week after I came home from my heart op my heartbeat went irregular. Fast with odd beats missed. I was sent to the hospital for a check and by the time they'd done their tests it was back to normal. Common after surgery apparently and they tweaked one of my meds. Fine since. But it is scary isn't it. Hope you're right soon.
