I bunged him a tenner. How much more does he want. Probably about eight grand.

Don’t mention bed. I’m currently sitting next to one in hospital waiting for investigative left hip surgery (TFL). First on the list the consultant said the other day, the lying bas....d. Apparently he’s warming up doing a couple of hip replacements first, so I’m now possibly lunch time or early afternoon.

Dying of thirst and could murder a bacon sarny.
Could be worse. They could suggest a quick bout of open heart surgery while you're waiting. Happened to a bloke Trish knows..... Just saying

If it's ok to mention Sainsbugs ... bookings, pour moi, are only available from Dec 13th to 19th inc
No you can't mention it. But since you did, we have slots booked every week up until Christmas but nothing visible after.

I'm ordering beans, tomatoes, bog roll, pasta, mince and biscuits every week to stock up, just in case Boris doesn't do a deal. Apparently there'll be no food until August according to a well-informed bloke on Facebook.

They’ve had enough time to.
They’re probably draining out the left over anaesthetic from a paying patient to use on me :D

Came home last night but could have stayed in. Get in and get out is my motto. Nothing like your own bed.

Felt like death warmed by the time we got home and went straight bed. Still in bed now but feeling a bit better although sore from the two foot wound he made. Will drag myself from my sick bed for a wash and brush up in a while. Don’t suppose it’s too soon for a medicinal single malt is it....no, perhaps not

Thanks Happy. Your all heart :)

I had a tendon release and something done to the bursar on my left hip. Part use of crutches round the house for two to four weeks.

Thanks John, and yes it is a bit uncomfortable putting it mildly.
I exaggerated slightly upon the wound length :) but it must be about four to six inches going by the length father water proof dressing and the horrendous bruising around it. Looks like I’ve been run over.

Thanks Jan.

The boss has gone back to work today so fending for myself. Everything taking twice as long to do. Getting dressed was a challenge in itself. I should have take up Mrs S offer off putting my socks on for me as I currently only have one on 😀. Just too painful to get the left one on.
