Pogues A Fairy Tale of New York.

Has anyone noticed how many times the BBC radio has played this classic song as we run up to Christmas. During the time that I have been tuned to radio 2 or local radio I can not say I have heard it being played at all.
The BBC did say after the PC brigade brought attention to the wording, that to prevent mental damage to the darlings that listern radio 1, the Pogues song would not be played, all other stations could play it.
This is one of the classic records along with others that go to make up the Christmas mix.
Have I been listening during the only time it is not played!!
