Can you pick me up on the way Merv. Thanks

I hope outside eating facilities will be available (social distancing and all that) we don't want Moby getting cold.

We do have a good cheese board at Christmas and like to try a diffent cheese or two we have never tried. New on last year's board was 'Stinking Bishop'. Has anyone tried it, my God, it smelt terrible, but thinking it may taste better I had a piece, it tasted like sick.
The only cheese I have ever binned.

One thing I like, which I think may be a Yorkshire thing, or perhaps it's just me, is a nice chunk of Wensleydale cheese with my Christmas cake.

That looks rather splendid. Might have to try it.

Are you putting your sprouts on early enough? They should be on by Halloween ideally. Or 1st December if you have a pressure cooker.

The entire YP range are great, we can only get four of them but love the Chicken one

Ones formula for sprouts ... 20 mins for a pound therefore if one is cooking three pounds it takes an hour

ps ... do we need a foody Topic

You're kidding. They'll still be raw. They don't even turn grey until at least two weeks.

Reminds me of my dear departed MIL. Whenever we went to see her for Sunday lunch she'd been up at dawn to get the veggies on. Everything, carrots, cabbage etc was a uniform grey by serving time. A bit like all plasticine goes brown in the end.

Morning all from tier 4

We were due to have mother in-law over for lunch today to celebrate Mrs S birthday but that’s been cancelled, by her mum actually last night. Even though she was in our support bubbly, at 91 she just didn’t want to take the risk.

Never mind, hopefully there will other times.
