That's not moaning Gill, merely stating the facts.
Now where have I heard that statement before, no don't help me, but wasn't that the mantra of every remainer we have had posting on here for the last 4 or 5 years.

I would hate to be considered a moaner, and hopefully i wont be by pointing out that what appears to be the current deal in no way reflects the aspirations of those people who wished to leave. IMHO it is a cr***y deal which it has cost billions to 'achieve', be you a leaver or remainer you can't be happy with it.

If Boris has got a deal then I would suggest that your comment is pure sour grapes, especially as Screwy pointed out, we dont know the fine detail as yet. hHowever from my own perspective it appears to satisfy all the main concerns I had when I voted leave.

I would hazard a guess that 99% of the deal has been agreed, approved and available in some circles for several months - it will only be the last dotting of "ts" and crossing the "is" that needs to be done. After all it has been reported that it is around 2,000 pages in length - should provide some light reading for some!

It was amusing listening to Jeremy Vine's programme on R2. Almost entirely set up with people to react to Boris's announcement. Which didn't happen in time. Not that that stopped them reacting with their pre -prepared gripe at any outcome comments.

And I hear from Mrs Krankie that Scotland didn't want Brexit. There's a shock. I wish she'd change the record. And get on with independence. Then she can rejoin the EU and the Germans can subsidise Scotland's economy rather than me! And she'll also have to hand the fish quotas that Boris has won back over to the EU again.

Not forgetting Ed Davey, who said Lib Dem’s will vote against the deal, followed up with “ a responsible opposition wouldn’t have an opinion without looking at the detail.”
