Request to login
Two days in a row now I have had to enter my login details to gain access to the forum, even though I always check the ‘remember my details’ box.
Is this now the norm are have the gremlins been up to mischief.

Re: Request to login
I haven't had that problem although I do also use Lastpass so whether that makes a difference I don't know.
I wonder if you deleted Cruise Community and then started again from the beginning whether that may clear the problem.

I’ll see how we go Foxy. If it keeps doing it I’ll try your suggestion. Thanks

Re: Request to login
I had a similar problem with another site except it just wouldn't accept my password even though it was correct so I cleared it altogether, started again with the same password and lo and behold!!! Why it did that I will never know. Sometimes I think computers confuse themselves.

I've not had that problem here regularly, only just occasionally. But I am having trouble this morning accessing Stephen's on line banking.

Re: Request to login
it only happens here when I accidentally clear all cookies - this one is on the bypass list and shouldn't be cleared.
there was a point when we got 'change your password' messages - that doesn't seem to have happened recently (famous last words...)

Re: Request to login
Thinking of passwords I had to request a new password for my windows account the other day, and every time I input one it told me it was an old one and not acceptable.
What with that and Google keeping telling me some of my passwords might have been hacked and need changing, its driving me to drink, although I don't need much urging, thank goodness.

Re: Request to login
Sky do that occasionally but without telly you, which is annoying. It’s not until i’ve checked all the settings that I finally resort to the Sky forum to try and find out why my email account isn’t working, where someone tells me I need to update my password and give me instructions on how to do this, which is a bit of a faff. All to do with security........of course.

What the powers that be don't realise is that this hiatus while you sort out updating your password and searching all over the internet for help, is quite likely to provide would be hackers with lots of help to do just that.Stephen wrote: 08 Jan 2021, 07:41Sky do that occasionally but without telly you, which is annoying.
