I only knew of the one that you mentioned to me. It wasn't until I looked on Ama and zon that it listed the three.

Re: TV programmes
Recently started watching episodes of ‘A place in the sun’, even thought they’re repeats. Interesting seeing what you can get for your money.

Re: TV programmes
Just started to re-watch Band of Brothers, only episode 1 so far but very impressed with the production, definitely major movie quality. Also interesting to see how many actors you can spot, who have made it big since then.

Re: TV programmes
Wouldn't you prefer to watch a drama that has a twist and a surprising end, like when David beat Goliath or when the tortoise beat the hare. A shock, when against all the odds, the under dog prevails and is the winner.oldbluefox wrote: 17 Jan 2021, 12:34Manoverboard wrote: 17 Jan 2021, 12:09I prefer to watch programs when I don't know the endingBensham33 wrote: 17 Jan 2021, 11:49I'll be watching Man City v Palace on Sky tonight. Going to give ‘Finding Alice’ a go tonight @ 9pm on ITV starring Joanna Lumley and Nigel Havers. Well I’ll be recording it.

It's a computery type word of old, it relates to space allocation on a disk so that the data is in one long string rather than being in bits dotted all over the place ... more psuedo techy than poshMervyn and Trish wrote: 18 Jan 2021, 12:40You and your posh words!Manoverboard wrote: 17 Jan 2021, 16:31I'm recording 5 contiguous programs on CBS America about rivers in Europe, kicking off in Venice at 16:20 this very afternoon.

Watched ‘Finding Alice’ last night. Found it a bit hard going. It might be one of those dramas that you need to watch the second episode to get into it. We will see.
