Google maps

Unread post by Onelife »

Just read this which made me chuckle.....

A householder asked Google to blur his house out on Google maps but they refused......so the householder wrote....F**k You on his roof.

Whilst Google maps can be quite invasive l quite like them as I like spying on my neighbours. :D

Mobs house is located under a canopy of trees which can only be seen if you know where to look…his 4x4 is parked to the side of his property… just saying! :D

A long time after QE2 came out of service you could still see it on Google Maps in Sydney Harbour.

If you go into street view it will tell you at the bottom when the image was created for that part of the map.

But is that for the satellite image, or the drive by street view?

Street view - imagery is more current as it is updated from satellite data
