That’s an option I will consider if my poisoned cheese bares no results…I’ll have no problem dispatching it.Manoverboard wrote: 09 Feb 2021, 09:48You could get a cage type trap, foolproof and the birds wont go anywhere near it. Downside is that you now have a live rat in a cage to get rid of![]()

Re: Rats
Hi Bensham,
I’m going to see if my poisoned cheese works before using my wife's prize onions, I will however give it a go before forking out for Mobs rat trap. The nature spy gets a sighting every night so give it a couple of nights and I’ll know whether or not it has taken the bait. I will put some onions on the next shopping list….thanks
Its days are numbered for sure.

Just checked my poisoned cheese snacks and they’ve all gone.Manoverboard wrote: 10 Feb 2021, 09:42TOP TIP
Did you know that rats cannot resist a slice off a Marathon bar but can ignore cheese ... just saying![]()
I’ve got two traps set under a large flower pot but the now rancid bacon hasn’t tempted ratty…I’ll put a Marathon Bar on next week’s shopping order as a fall-back.

Yep, giving Mrs rat one no doubt. Get ready for the family in a couple of weeks Onelife. And it won't be long before they start reproduction, this could run for a while yet.Manoverboard wrote: 11 Feb 2021, 09:34Could it be cos it was too bl**dy cold to come outOnelife wrote: 11 Feb 2021, 09:14Bit early for dishing out the chocolates but I had no sightings last night![]()

Since no one seems to have seen any of your choccies whether real or virtual, then any detraction is purely hypothetical.Onelife wrote: 11 Feb 2021, 12:48I think it would be a case of “Once bitten twice shy” if my detractors on this forum are to believed Foxyoldbluefox wrote: 11 Feb 2021, 11:29Have you tried feeding it on one of your chocolates Keefy?
