I like my beer as beer, mixed with other beer or not. But the new generation seem to need fruit flavors, etc to mix in to it, spoil a good pint.

Half of them wouldn't know what a good pint is, all standing round with their poncy girlie drinks or sipping out a bottle trying to look 'cool' while talking crap.Ray B wrote: 17 Feb 2021, 11:11I like my beer as beer, mixed with other beer or not. There was a drink called a snake bite. It was lethal. The kids used to drink it because it was the quickest way to get drunk.

It's the fish that's pricey, chips still go cheap, just like ones budgie.

I remember as a young lad being sent down to the local chippy for half a crowns worth of chips for our tea for the five of us. In them days you almost needed a wheel barrow to bring them home. Now all you need is a sheet of A4.
The best chips I’ve had for a very long time were last year from a vendor down at West Bay in Dorset. Pricey but wonderful.

Why does Halifax Canada come before Halifax Calderdale on the BBC weather site??? It ought to be ahead both alphabetically and patriotically surely.
