I wonder if the reaction is similar after shot 2?
Compared to the alternative I couldn't really be that bothered. Whatever the reaction may be it is a small price to pay.

very true.
I have just looked into it and it tends to affect more on the 2nd dose!

Had aches and pains in the night that kept me awake and a horrendous cough that lasted about half hour. But there you go, mustn’t grumble. Better than the alternative.

Woke up chirpier than a flock of sparrows after my jab…no ill effects other than a little pain at the site of injection.

My wife has over the past couple of days developed a 8cm red patch below the injection site.

Certainly seems the biggest side effect, slight discomfort around the injection site to veering degree.
To me it felt like I had banged into something and not very noticeable.
Hopefully a small price to pay towards what ever normal will mean.
Don't worry, be happy

Mrs B had her vaccination on Wednesday.
It turned out that she's considered clinically vulnerable, although she didn't know she was.
She's very happy as you can imagine.
As for me ?
No chance yet !

All adults to be offered a jab by the end of July - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-56141867

So the programme is being brought forward by a month or so, although this idea was voiced few weeks ago by the boss of the NHS (cannot remember his name).

Now is this also part of a "cunning plan" firstly to help with the "road map" tomorrow but also to deflect from the constant requests for teachers etc. to be prioritised, as the logistics of doing so would inevitably slow down the vaccination programme?

And this is only the first jab for allot of people. Let’s hope Boris gets it right tomorrow and keeps the lockdown lifting to the minimal. But I expect as usual the stupid will still do they’re own thing and ruin it for the rest of us.
