I think plod have given up trying to enforce the rules. Your more likely to see the pope round here than the police.

Funny you should say. We were in London one time and had wondered why the train had been relatively crowded on a mid-day mid-week journey down. Then as we sat in the restaurant having dinner and looking out of the window the Pope went by! We saw him again while we were there.

Just like buses. You wait all your life for the Pope then you get two!

I possibly look over 80 but in reality, I'm just a spring chicken.
Actually, I'm sure that both my knees are 80 :o

It should be very soon, as many places are doing group 7. I’m 60, and had mine done on the 19th at the GP hub

I have been told that the over 60’s can now book on the NHS website for appointments at the big vaccination centres and pharmacies- I don’t know if it’s true, but might be worth a try

Our grand daughter has a routine hospital appointment next week and is going for a covid test tomorrow, they will be giving her a ' jab ' at the same time ... is this the new norm given that she is only 20 years old ?

Have they now stopped the 15 minutes waiting time after the jab?

I have tried logging on to book but you have to have received an invitation letter which has a 10 digit code.
I have not yet had the letter.
Shouldn't be too long now.

Would have been handy to have had it done as my 93 year old dad has to go to hospital on the 8th and I cant take him during to not having had the jab.
Having contacted the hospital he has to go, they have already postponed his appointment once. It's more serious if he doesnt go.

I was under the impression the 10 digit number was your NHS number which you can get from any prescription or most letters from doctors etc.
That was definately what my wife used when booking her appointment

The number is not the problem ... one needs a formal invitation to proceed :)

Wifey has just had hers after our granddaughter phoned the local centre, explained her age and asked if they had any left over. The Doctor was surprised she hadn’t been called by the GP and told her to get down pronto.! Pfizer.

Have you tried contacting the hospital Lindsey. As his carer I would imagine they would be sympathetic otherwise it makes it very difficult.
