Downing street redecorating

Unread post by towny44 »

Is it just me or does anyone else not care who pays Carrie's decorating bill, just as long it's not the taxpayer.

These are wealthy people and I agree, just as long as it's not the taxpayer does it matter how much it costs or even that they're decorating.
Wasn't it Bercow who did spend thousands on wallpaper at taxpayers expense to decorate his Westminster pad?

At the end of the day this is a "council house" and with all council houses the occupant is responsible for its internal upkeep.

My heart bleeds for them. He should’ve kept a closer eye on her spending.

I've got half a tin of left over magnolia emulsion you can have if it helps keep the cost down.

Must use the same interior decorator as the one who dreamt up the set on Morning Live. Looks like my granny's front room.
