That's good news Jan, coffees and lunches will soon be on the horizon.

Had to speak to my gp today about my side effects, and have been urged to go ahead and have the 2nd when I'm invited. It will be a week tomorrow since I had my jab and I'm still having side effects.

Lindsey
Lyndsey, have you gone online to the NHS vaccination website and sent them the details of your side effects?

Not yet,I've planned to do it in the morning.
It's the yellow form or something similar. I have a covid arm a red rash and swollen and the next one has to be in the same arm due to me having lymphoedema in the right.

Apparently I've just been unlucky but I am allergic to a lot of antibiotics.
Hey ho it's better than catching covid isnt it.

My daughters best friends parents are in their 70s and live in Luxembourg and wont have their jabs until the late autumn and the daughter shes very upset about it all.

OMG what a coincidence - my son who lives in Luxembourg has said he just doesn’t know when he will get his vaccination - they are so far behind us and now they’ve stopped using the Oxford vaccine - it’s getting worse out there. Can’t imagine when I’ll see them :(

You put on, which I’m pretty sure was on here that you could handle me and that you stay away from political posts, or words to that affect. :)

I blame Moby for too much spring cleaning on here. Give him a duster and a can of pledge and he goes mad and confuses everyone with missing or moved posts. :D

Of course he’ll deny it ;)

Good on you Jan, bit of a while before ours open again. But as they say, what goes around, comes around, and my hair (what's left) is getting back to the 60s

The landmark 25 million first time jabs has been passed. I think we should be proud of our NHS and of how well the roll out has gone in our country.

Did you get a sticker and a lollipop? I can't wait to have mine cut but it's going to be a while yet.

My wife cuts mine and has kindly offered to do yours as long as long as you supply the bowl

Why is the EU banging it's drum for covid vaccines when it's fridges are full with millions of doses not being used and no one wants.

Send them over here, we'll use them.

To some degree Moby, but Maureen is classed as clinically vulnerable. Granddaughter's class has been sent home today (covid) Booked Azura for next Feb in the hope everything is a lot better.

But, as yet, obviously imperfect ... we two are hanging on by a thread pending the second jab before we see our Grandchildren let alone think about going on a cruise. It seems like a step forward for you though

Matt Hancock said last night that shielding/house arrest will end on March 28th which is wonderful news. I just hope those who keep breaking lockdown don't go and spoil it all for everybody.

Lockdown, what lockdown. You’d never think it by the amount of people and traffic about.
