I think there is more than a subtle difference between people ranting and raving out in public (wearing offensive clothing and carrying placards) and someone quietly enjoying a cream tea and keeping thoughts private (eg not talking about it out loud in public).

I can tell the difference - and if anyone else can't ........ !

And at that point I'm merrily off then folks I think.

Sorry, but the principle is the same - you are gleeful that someone has died ........

Ok Mo,

Gee you must be sooooo clever - you're a mind reader then are you? If people are making a public display/exhibition/protest - it is simple for all onlookers to realise what the protestors are going on about.

How in the name of blood and stomach pills can you deduce what is going on in the mind of someone who is sitting politely and quietly doing nothing more than enjoying an afternoon tea?

It's called decorum, dear. The protestors don't have it, I do - simples.

Oh well, time is tight - so I've really got to get a move on - enjoy trying to read my mind; you'll have your work cut out I can assure you. When and if you have reached a conclusion, do have a protest, get yourself a teeshirt and a placard - have a great time, and see if I care.

TTFN -

Em

:o That's funny Boris - there was a post in which you said that when a certain person dies you would sit and have a cream cake to celebrate the fact ..... strange, the post seems to have disappeared but I'm sure it was seen and read by lots of members.

If there was, it would not have been deleted by Boris, the edit facility has a time limit.

If a poster deletes a post within the time limit, it is still on view to Admin.

I know this because on another thread, I double posted a post, so I deleted one of them, I could still see my deleted post as could admin, but the rest of the members could not. (I think it's called soft delete or something similar)
If admin deletes a post, it dissappears completely to members, including the member who posted it.

You are correct Delboy, like any good forum, or social media site, posts are only 'removed from view' but are still reocrded in the database and can be reinstated if required. That is why people should always be careful what they post ... people used to think they could make comments, get someone else to rise, and then delete their post ... all that does is 'hide' it from others ... but not the mods or admin.

It's good to know that admin would be able to find the post I responded to.

Don't you dare Moby, I shall be Bozza bashing for years with that one. Now, what's happened to the rest of my post on Ray's thread, the bit where I said that the idiot man that caused all the upset last time was luckily not posting on here? :D
