Just got booked for second jab for next week, Wednesday the 5th May

I knew my turn must be coming up soon so I phoned the booking centre on the off chance and lo and behold got booked in. As it turned out I was due to be contacted anyway as my first jab in mid February fell into the next lot of vaccinations. It’ll be good to get it out the way though before we go away later that month.

We've had both and then allowed a couple of weeks for maximum protection ... hairdresser appointment for Mobietta and a visit to M&S for some prawns pending a family visit is as far as we have got so far

I'm pleased to report that 5 days after second jab no adverse reactions or abnormal urges to do excess housework or DIY.

Is there an antidote, just in case.

I'm taking doses of malt whisky as a precaution.

Had my letter for my second jab for Wednesday.
Am a bit excited as will be seeing our daughter and son in law on Sunday, havnt seen them since September.
Managed to book a table outside at a lovely restaurant in Mumbles.
Son in laws parents are driving up from Pembrokeshire to join us .

Have been diagnosed with high blood pressure so trying to remain calm.

We've had our two jabs and are starting to do things too ... like meeting up with chums at theirs but the highlight is the visit of our grandchildren and their Mum. This will be the first time we have seen them face to face since Xmas 2019 :D

Yes we're relaxing a little too, mostly with seeing family, but we're still cautious and will be doing less than we will be allowed to. Will not be going to any raves or discos.

I'm so pleased that my younger daughter, aged 38 had her first jab yesterday. I'm very impressed that offering the vaccination to people of her age has come so quickly.

My vaccinations are now showing in the NHS App on my mobile phone. Not that that helps any future travel plans as Trish doesn't have a smart phone!
