I’ve just purchased a teasmaid Stephen !!! Saw one advertised and remembered how useful it was so bought it. Still have a radio alarm clock too but don’t use it with alarm especially since retiring

I remember it well ... it was Juneteenth day 2021 when my internet went down at about 13:00 and didn't return until the next morning.

They were printed in Leeds by De La Rue within the John Waddington ( of Monopoly fame ) factory. The production area was bordered by very high fencing and unauthorized entry was impossible albeit it was perfectly Ok to dander about in the adjacent areas flicking through un cut millions of, for example, Hong Kong Dollars.

A half mile walk to the nearest red phone box and tip tapping, instead of dialing, the numbers in to get a free call
