I would be interested to hear Screwy's comments on this three parter - if he watched it.

Re: Time
I did watch it and thoroughly enjoyed it. There were a few things that were not factually correct but hey it was a drama after all. I thought the young thug Joey was brilliant, we’ve all had a few like him on the wings. Overall an excellent, well written drama .

Re: Time
I watched the whole series recently and thought it was brilliant. Certainly makes you think about not wanting to end up in prison.

Re: Time
My thoughts exactly - not sure that I would be able to handle it.

Re: Time
Screwy, would an ex school teacher serving time, even for causing death by dangerous driving, actually end up in such a prison, rather than in an open prison of some sort?

Re: Time
No reason why he wouldn’t be sent to a Cat C prison for that offence, even as a first timer.
He could ,if feeling vulnerable ask to go on a vulnerable prisoner unit but that would label him to be a ‘Nonce’ in the eyes of the others. My last Prison held over 1100 cons, sorry, ‘ Offenders’ about 500 were VP’s, mostly sex offenders but not all.
Open Prisons are for Cat D, minor but imprisonable offences and those who have worked their way through the system and seen as to not be a risk of absconding, many do though, sometimes they just can’t help themselves when faced with the opportunity.
