I think he should start a new Topic outlining the ease, or perhaps complexities, of moving house for the elder persons amongst us

It can be as easy or as hard as your wallet will allow.

The problem is not the cost of moving, rather how to persuade her indoors that not everything she deems essential will fit in a much smaller space.

We had a cloudburst here yesterday afternoon, the gutters were overflowing and one of the lawns was under water ... fairly sure I spotted an Ark cruising past the dining room windows.

Been for my morning walk and although cloudy and low temp it was quite pleasant. Glad I didn’t put a fleece on by the time I got back.

Not a bad morning, at least the sun is shining, but no great shakes on the temp front. Don’t know what’s happened to this heat wave we’re supposed to be getting.

I think it's been postponed, a bit like the end of lockdown.

I’ve got my proud grandmother hat on today - I’ve just been watching my grandson in Luxembourg receiving his International Baccalaureate certificate. My son sent me the link to the European School - it was televised on YouTube and due to covid restrictions the parents/family and friends couldn’t attend. Well makes a change from tennis and football
