I am so sorry I missed all your birthday greetings, we have been child minding our grand daughter up in London and I wasn’t logging in much at all - too exhausted by a five year old!

Anyway, thank you very much for all your good wishes, I had a lovely birthday, though it brings me perilously close to what seems a very big ‘un! On a more cheerful note, we are off on our first cruise for 20 months in just a few days. How excited am I?

Thank you and I would, but yesterday it was cancelled! Apparently some new crew members boarded and tested positive. Working with Public Health they had to stop boarding more crew which means they have insufficient to work and be trained in time.

Thanks Jan, we have consoled ourselves with booking a 26 night roundtrip Caribbean on QM2. Whether it happens though is anyone’s guess.
