How to - turn an e-mail into a PDF ?
I am trying to register a coffee machine with DeLonghi, they require proof of purchase via a pic of the actual receipt or a PDF of the file containing the receipt. I purchased the machine from Amazon so I only have an e-mail confirming the order of same.
I can save the e-mail into the Document folder but the format is unacceptable to them.
My question therefore is " How do a create a PDF version of the saved email ? "
ps ... I am using a PC + MS Edge.

There are loads of online .pdf convertors for almost every format you can think of. Let Mr Google be your friend (other friends are available!)

I can do ' Save as ' with a Rich Text Document but it does not offer a PDF option

If your printer scans documents then scan the receipt and save it to wherever, usually desktop, then just attach it to an email and send it to the company.

Just a revision on my answer, that works perfectly in yahoo. However for GMail you need to click the vertical ellipses to the top right of the email and select 'print' from there (otherwise your category list also gets printed - probably not desirable).
Which email client/program do you use?

I used to be a fan of cute pdf but there is no need for any pdf reader/printer these days (assuming Windows 10 or recent version of iOS). PDF reading/printing is now native in all the mainstream Windows/MAC browsers. it is basically just a 'printer' within the print dialog.Mervyn and Trish wrote: 11 Jul 2021, 16:52Agreed. Yes you're right but I've had it long before Windows 10 and it works so I still use it.Kendhni wrote: 11 Jul 2021, 17:34I used to be a fan of cute pdf but there is no need for any pdf reader/printer these days (assuming Windows 10 or recent version of iOS). I can read PDFs so knew it must be somewhere but didn't think to check the print dialogue boxKendhni wrote: 11 Jul 2021, 16:50Right click email, select print and then on the print dialog select 'save as PDF'
Spot on Ken, easy peasy. Many thanks
I use Windows Live Mail ... so after ' print ' click on the ' Microsoft print to PDF ' link then ' print ' as required and the email is now a PDF in the Documents folder but remember to check / select the default printer link after doing it.

It can also be a useful trick if you have a pdf that is security protected. Load the pdf up in a browser and then select ‘print as pdf’. You are then free to edit the document in any way that suits you.Manoverboard wrote: 12 Jul 2021, 10:19I can read PDFs so knew it must be somewhere but didn't think to check the print dialogue boxKendhni wrote: 11 Jul 2021, 16:50Right click email, select print and then on the print dialog select 'save as PDF'

A similar way is to right click on the screen display, select print and then choose the ' Print to PDF ' Option
