Great that he survived, amazing that he only had 'moderate' injuries.

I think if it had been a British built house
he may have not survived, or at the very least had serious injuries.

Perhaps a new pair of underpants would be more appropriate on this occasion

It will come as no surprise to you Stephen,
but your mate Onelife was a bit of an adrenalin junkie in his younger days, hand gliding, parachute jumping, hanging from railway bridges etc, etc, however parachuting is something I only ever did once. There were about six of us, plus a group of army cadets on the course. My group consisted of me and a mate and a lad we didn’t know. We were supposed to climb out onto the strut of the planes wing and then jump. The lad who by his weight was to go out first, however, before taking off the lad said he couldn’t go out first so I stepped forward and said I would do it. My then girlfriend now wife was ready to take the video, she of course was expecting me to come out last, she did get a little footage of the first two out but concentrated on the last one out. All went well for me and my mate but the lad must have had second thoughts because the plane went round again before he finally got pushed out. The best part of it was that my wife was still videoing the lad as I walked up to her with parachute in hand.
The reason I only did one parachute jump was due to watching one of the cadets, his chute failed to open fully which caused him to spin until he managed to pull his reserve chute…. he landed astride a barbed wire fence…. after freeing himself his officer just said “the toilet is over their lad”
I nearly lost bowel control just watching what happened, hence the reason I never wanted to do another jump and took up dress making instead

You want to try doing it at night over enemy territory.
No, I never done it, I'm just suggesting you try it

I can’t think why you would want me to do that Stephen but I’m going to ask Towny to give it a go first
