Pilot jumps ship. Not the way you might think.

That didn’t look difficult Stephen ;). Reminds me of a cruise I did with Costa Cruises. Passengers got on and off at each port and a family were running along the quay side as the ship sailed out so the pilot boat picked them up and literally threw the cases into the door at the side of the ship and the passengers jumped. There was a lot of clapping and cheering - we were gobsmacked but it looked as if it was a regular occurrence

I would think it takes nerves of steel to do it, especially the first few times. Easy to be all blasé sitting at home behind a computer. Get the timing wrong and........ :thumbdown

I’ll have you know I saw action with two military units.

The Royal Stand-Backs and the Armchair Fusiliers. Remotely of course :)

I get the feeling that it is like a funfair ride. When you are an onlooker you think 'well that isn't much' but when you get on the ride you hope your gusset is reinforced. In this case to casual onlookers it all looks very serene but to the guys having to grab that ladder and get the gang plank out of the way before you run into it. Not my idea of a fun day at the office.

PS: Another example is snooker, Why is it that when I am at the table the pockets look like a demi tasse but when my opponent is at the table they look like buckets.

You would not want to miss the ladder otherwise 'curtains'
Our elf and safety would frown upon that I would think.
Don't worry, be happy

Stalling a hand glider at 1000 feet is what I call a gusset wrencher.

If he had tripped before the grab then I would be agreeing with you, but pilots face far worse boarding conditions than this guy is facing.

You are clearly lacking the skill level to make the holes look bigger....you need bigger balls on both counts Ken ;)

I might be on the wrong track here, but chaffing is not the reason I walk like John Wayne. :)

I keep returning to this thread in error.
