Does anybody have any info about flying ?
A question arose over the weekend about Covid requirements when flying.
Basically ...
Do passengers, and crew, have to wear a mask for the duration of the flight or only when unseated ?

Re: Does anybody have any info about flying ?
On the last flight I took it was for the duration of the entire flight except when eating .. and since the flight did not serve any food, that meant it had to be worn at all times. It also meant wearing it properly, the cabin crew told several people off who had failed to understand it had to cover the nose as well as the mouth.
For those using flights I would recommend the paper ones over cloth ones - much lighter and easier to breathe with.
Having said that things change quickly

I think that it may be airline dependant but in general from what I know from those who have flown recently it is as Ken says.

Re: Does anybody have any info about flying ?
The question arose because number two son would like to return to the UK to see the old folks
His flight from Cambodia would take 17 hours and because he is asthmatic his Doctor says that he must wear a ' special mask ' for the duration. With this thought in mind he played on a flight simulator, wearing a mask, for just 4 hours over the weekend. He advises that he crashed three times and nearly went out of his mind
A sobering thought for anybody who may be thinking of going to the Caribbean anytime soon
