Up to and just after 09.00 it was very dark and murky with rain, most miserable mornining to be out in.

Have you tried picking them up with the motor mower if you have one, or are they on gravel. Mower works fine on the drive....

That's what I always done after trimming the laurel bush to pick up the remaining bits, before we got rid of it. Works a treat.

Or set the alarm so Mobiietta can do it in the morning before she brings you your cuppa.

I am using the mower on its highest setting and am collecting lots of leaves and no grass but then down comes the next lot .... Mobietta is deffo on rake alert Tuesday morning

Always good to have a fall back and just think of all that fresh air and exercise she will be getting. Win win all round.

No idea what GreenThumb put on the weeds but they are heading for the sky, I'll cut them down to size at the weekend.

Once the weeds form a decent forest canopy it should stop the leaves gathering. Just saying.....

Beautiful day here. Just been washing jets…….I mean jet washing. A messy job but the end result is worth it

Once the weeds form a decent forest canopy it should stop the leaves gathering. Just saying.....

The North Easterly view from one's kitchen is a tad like the ' Day of the Triffids '. Giant weeds are everywhere and were obviously dropped by the zillions of birds that have invaded us this past year for their feeding frenzies on grubs various ... another job for GreenThumb obviously
