Should the State execute them as an act of revenge, not for me they shouldn't.

I don’t think the state would see execution as ‘revenge’ but as justice for the families who have had their lives destroyed by these monsters.

There will however be murders that have mitigating circumstances, which is why I have said ‘in certain cases’ with regard to the reintroduction of the death penalty.

I am disappointed in any decision to call it terrorism.

I suspect that this is more procedural than anything else - if he is charged with terrorism the police can hold him for a lot longer without charge than they can for murder, and it also gives them more powers.

I rather think that since he stood over his victim with the knife still in his hand, the police won't need to ask for extra time before charging him.
