I certainly didn’t think Adam deserved to be in the dance off but perhaps the voting public see him as being a bit bland.

Judi gave it her all and credit to her for getting as far as she has but no matter how you dress it up, size in a dancing competition really does matter.

I'm waiting for the cries of racism. But for us it was simple. She wasn't a good enough dancer.

Yes, it was a bit of a shocker when Adam was put in the dance off, didn’t see that coming. I think it’s sometimes a question of which professional the public like and want to keep in, not the dancer.

In my view Sara should have definitely been in the dance off but Aljaz is popular. As for Judi, she had a good run but needed to go.

I agree. I was certain that Judi would be in the dance off and would be voted off. I didn't see Adam as being the other one at all. I thought Sara too. I can't say I enjoy the Hallowe'en performance but maybe I'm being old and crotchety. I missed the beginning of Saturday's competition and when Tilly did her dance I couldn't work out who she was - all because of the makeup and costume. I know the whole Hallowe'en thing is meant to be fun but it does seem to have really taken a whole new form since I was a child, or even looking back to when my girls were growing up. My daughter, who came to visit me yesterday, arrived back home just as she saw a group of young children with their treats baskets going past her driveway. She'd bought lots of chocolate things in readiness for the Trick and Treaters. So she asked them if they'd like some more Treats. So she was able to get rid of most of the chocolate and she was so pleased that then she wouldn't be tempted to eat it all herself! I didn't hear or see any round our village but there may have been on the outskirts where there are more young families.

I don't like Halloween full stop. Just another American import so Strictly Halloween night doesn't appeal to me. Be back to a better show next week with its razzmatazz.

That plus a few years ago local louts attacked one of the dancers (Gorka) and he had two teeth knocked out. Subsequently in 2019 the cast were banned from going out on the town as a security precaution after a number of other incidents (according to the Press!!). It's a shame that people can't walk the streets without the fear of some clown assaulting you for no reason at all. Sadly Blackpool suffers from too many idiots who either cannot hold their drink, are high on drugs or just plain violent. It's a shame.

Totally agree. What has a lobster costume got to do with Halloween? They copied that stupid idea from the film Love Actually. {Sue tells me now that Dan chose that himself because his family don't agree with Halloween} I don't think we are old and grumpy, well not much. Halloween is, as you say an American import by marketing people, to sell junk. There are some surprisingly good dancers this year, and the contest is wide open. i don't think Dan can last much longer, nice bloke but as I know myself, height is a big disadvantage when dancing. The signal path from the brain to the feet is too long.

Some of us shorter blokes have the same problem but in our case there is no internet connection between the brain and the feet and when you're tone deaf as well that doesn't help.

Not keen on Dan's effort this week. I must admit I'm not keen on the celebrity's choice anyway but his dance seemed very bland.
Some good dances tonight and Amy looked lovely!!!

Tom Fletcher was very good dancing the Pasodoble.

Sara and Dan in dance off with Sarah going, hopefully……but stranger things have happened.

Well that didn’t happen. Another week of the wrong people in the dance off as far as I’m concerned.

All the voters must be Northerners. At this rate my prediction for next weeks dismissal is the studio cat.

The dance floor lighting graphics are excellent. Especially liked the drop away chess board. Very clever.

To a large extent it does not really matter what order the "also rans" get eliminated as they are never going to win.

Also looks as if Tilly does not have a lot of public support - not unsurprising bearing in mind who her dad is!

You obviously dont understand the finer points of dancing Stephen, after 10 seconds of watching Adam's jive I was already ordering him a taxi.

If you thought Adam’s jive was bad what does that say about Sara or Dan, yet for some weird reason they are both still there.

I think AJ could be a dark horse. No pun intended

I couldn't agree more ;) but for my ever growing followers Onelife's spoiler will be back next week...

I thought Tilly's footwork was excellent, what did for her was that awful dress she was wearing.

P.s Had I not been otherwise engaged it would have been…hello from me, and good bye from Tilly Adam :shifty: :)

I agree about Tilly's dress. Whoever decides on the constumes doesn't do Tilly any favours. I thought it would be Dan and Sara in the Dance Off and Dan would go - even Dan thought he would go according to the weekend papers.
My thoughts of the winner, Rose or AJ, really like Rose.

I thought Dan and Sara were far better on Saturday than Adam, and 3 of the judges agreed with me, and Shirley always votes for anything in trousers.

I wouldn’t like you to think I agree with anything in trousers but I agree with Stephen about Dan…he just goes through the motions as if he is dancing by numbers. No flare no charisma.
