I am in the bad books again

Unread post by Kendhni »

I have been getting so many spam phone calls that I now just block any number I do not recognise. While doing this it appears I accidentally blocked the fruit of my father-in-laws loins (or at least that is the story I am sticking with). So I have just had to deal with a wife and two dogs, absolutely soaked through after being caught in very heavy rain showers and had to walk for almost 3 miles in aforementioned heavy rain ... because she could not get hold of me to pick her up.

I am just going out to call dibs on the best of the dog beds we have since I get the impression that may be where I am sleeping for the next few nights. Maybe if I hadn't burst out laughing when I saw her, and what looked like two drowned rats on leads, things could have been so different.

I'd have said 'Is it raining, and your not coming in here like that'.

The charm offensive always works..... :D

Perhaps I shouldn’t have but I have to confess I did laugh :lolno:

Reminded me of my son trying to contact me on his mobile and couldn’t get through. I had inadvertently blocked his number - I’d had one of those days of nuisance calls and blocked them plus his number - he wondered what he’d done!!!

Sounds to ma as if you are in the "dog house" rather than in bad books

I doubt the dogs will let him in after the soaking they got.

I think I am safe from this problem, I have no idea how to block anyone number.

P&O actually came to my rescue on this. Our travel agent brought the documents for our cruise next March to the house last night, my little prairie flower can't remain angry at me when she wants me to pay for it :)
