Re: Football 21/22
Dan Phillips has made an unexpected return and straight into the starting 11 due to injuries.
Managed to get booked within 25 minutes.
First foul, first minute.
We love the lad.
A proper get into em player.

Anyone watching the F1 from Brazil over the weekend witnessed a master class in racing driving. Give a craftsman the best tools and he will produce something brilliant. Got to be one of the best races for a long time.

Given that Mercedes is better suited to that track and the fact he had a brand new engine it was always likely that he would win, personally I can’t stand him.

Tell the FA to stop having so many International breaks, then we wouldn't need to find alternative sports.

There's loads of football to watch even during the irritating International breaks. Football don't start and end with the Premier League you know.

Co-operation is all I ask

There's a report on ' Dan ' on the Watford site but I may not post it in case it upsets anyone

Credit to the young man.
He had to stay on for the full ninety due to other injuries and was named Gills man of the match.
He seems to have the edge over the other youngsters due to his work off the ball and his tackling.
We are currently playing four home grown youngsters which is pretty unusual these days.
Jack Tucker being the most advanced in development.
He’s a bit of a baby face assassin with nine bookings already.
He’ll end up at a much higher level.
At least we’ll get the development fee like we did for John Egan.

It’s an excellent view for any footie fan and really shows how difficult it is to run a club.

All credit to Savage and the likes of Scholes & Co who have invested time, money, energy and enthusiasm in English basement football clubs unlike a certain celebrity footballer who has chosen to invest in an American team. Not quite sure why we hail him as much of a hero as we do.

Re: Football 21/22
With Palace up at Burnley I'm at Hayes Lane for Bromley v King's Lynn, watching Leicester v Chelsea. 0 -2 at half time and Leicester ain't in it. I am however a tad puzzled as to why James Madison isn't playing? I know he's been struggling for form but on his day he is one of the best mid field players in the Prem.
He should be playing OBF. He ain't going to get his form back sitting on the bench. Come on, sort it out.
Teams just come out for the second half and Madison is on. Leicester look better already. Come on you Foxes.

Re: Football 21/22
They were absolutely dire today - no commitment, no fight, too static, no movement, too slow on the ball, sloppy in their passing but apart from that they played well!!!
Chelsea were just too good for us although we made them look all the better.
Lost another goal from a corner similar to the last one we conceded. Defending corners is woeful and made worse by a keeper glued to his line. The second goal was just an invitation. We left the door wide open for Kante to waltz through and choose where he wanted to shoot.
