Re: Strictly 2021
Stunning dance and choreography, and a very clever touch with the silent piece
As Foxy said, Tilly, Sara and Dan contenders for the dance off, although I think AJ could also be at risk this week. I think Dan is pushing the Mr nice guy a bit much.
The two boys as always were good, but Mrs S and I both said they are getting a bit samey every week with their dancing.

Re: Strictly 2021
I find Dan irritating running off screen every time he gets a high score. He's a bit too full of himself for my liking.
Surprised that AJ had a bad night. She has been consistently good.

Re: Strictly 2021
That certainly was stunning and all the more poignant by being the last dance of the night (was that by design I wonder?) - but so much of this partnership must go to Giovanni for the skill and patience that he must have to work with Rose.Stephen wrote: 14 Nov 2021, 08:32Rose

The contest is now Rose's to loose - the rest are now just making up the numbers.
And what was all that about after his scoring last night other that pleading for votes.oldbluefox wrote: 14 Nov 2021, 08:44I find Dan irritating running off screen every time he gets a high score.

Iām hoping Giovanniās āI love you Roseā was said in the same context as we love herā¦it must be difficulty for her long-term boyfriend.

We didn't see it live last night but have watched Rose's dance this morning. Yes, stunning. She's our definite favourite to win now.

I do agree that Rose is quite good. As for Dan's antics, I find them quite amusing. He's obviously over the moon at being there. I'm can see though that if you take things a bit serious he could come across as irritating but he makes me smile
Come on Dan.
Come on Dan.

Re: Strictly 2021
Now there's a thought. Wilf would be good at Strictly, especially if he dances the same as he does when he dances round defenders.

Re: Strictly 2021
On reflection I think Sara departure was a fair decision but her performance wasnāt helped by the wardrobe department again.

Re: Strictly 2021
Neither Sara nor Tilly was served well by the wardrobe department. Neither looked good.

Re: Strictly 2021
Not that I ever warmed to her, I personally thought Sara was the better of of the two dance offās and the judges got it wrong. Perhaps Gordon offered all the judges a slap up meal in one of his restaurants if they kept Tilly in
I agree, the wardrobe department didnāt cover themselves in glory this week with those two, although with the size of Sara they probably only had only so much material and budget to go round.
The shows opening professional's dance was very poignant

Iāve probably watched Rose and Giovaniās dance 20 times but missed this inspired part of the dance...
"Loved the part where Rose covered Giovanniās ears and brought him into her world! Amazing choreography"

Go on admit it Super Dan has surprised you all. For a geezer who ain't ever danced a step before he's doing just great and yes it's only a matter of time but you could say that about all of them, even Rose.

Not sure if it was a fashion statement or something to do with her heritage but that ring through Cynthia's nose did nothing for her appearance.

Not impressed with her at all. Get well soon Craig who does know what dancing is.
That thing through her nose was very distracting. I was thinking of having one but I don't think I'll bother now!
