Re: Covid vaccine
A little update on something. On Saturday I was driving along and suddenly my back became sore (it was literally like a light switch being turned on). I assumed it was from an old injury from my motorbiking days that sometimes flares up. I was laid up most of Saturday and Sunday. This morning I got up and my back is 100% perfect ... that is not the way this normally goes, previously it gradually got better over a period of a couple of weeks.
The good lady is just back in from her usual dog walking and talking with neighbours session. Just this morning she talked to 3 different people who said that they also had back ache a few days after getting the pfizer booster and in all cases it arrived suddenly and disappeared as fast as it arrived. Connection or coincidence, I have no idea.

After the incident when you blocked your wife's phone, I would check to see whether she has made an effigy of you, and confiscate her pin box.Kendhni wrote: 15 Nov 2021, 13:09A little update on something. Re posted to this site.
Had the flu jab in September, booster jab start of November and now having the shingles jab end of the month.
No problems what so ever so far but have heard some people get a minor infection of shingles after the shingles jab. Anyone had this experience?

We both had the shingles jab a few years ago, and had no reaction to it at all.Ray B wrote: 15 Nov 2021, 14:38Re posted to this site.

Re: Covid vaccine
We both had 2x AZ followed by Pfizer. I had no problems other than a tender arm where they rammed the needle in. My Mrs has a reaction to everything and had some minor symptoms with the first two but absolutely nothing with the third.
Nothing at all to worry about.

Re: Covid vaccine
I had tooth ache the day after my booster, this makes me think many of the symptoms experienced could just be a case of coincidence?…still have a painful arm though.

Re: Covid vaccine
I had a reaction to both AZ jabs.
Nothing serious, just felt rough for a day.
I had exactly the same reaction to the Pfizer booster.
Mrs B had her booster yesterday lunchtime and felf a bit rough a few hours later so took herself off to bed at about 9.30.
She woke up this morning still feeling it bit rough but still went off to work because ……… she likes money

And she needs to keep you in the way you've become accustomed. That's what I say to Mrs Sbarney wrote: 16 Nov 2021, 09:40I had a reaction to both AZ jabs.

Re: Covid vaccine
Thanks for your replies, I will be having the jab next week.
Having had a close call with shingles on the head, I certainly don't want it again. My brilliant doctor took one look and within the hour I was having my eyes checked out at the hospital, the doctor having asked for an emergency appointment with the Ophthalmologist. Luckily it hadn't gone in my eyes and after a cause of treatment made a full recovery.
Don't worry, be happy

Re: Covid vaccine
Well I had the Pfizer booster this afternoon.
It was extremely busy and took a long time before I was jabbed.
They had to go away and check it all out, came back and said fine to go ahead.
So just have to wait and see now.

Re: Covid vaccine
If like me and Mrs S you will probably have a sore arm for two or three days and feel a bit tired.

Re: Covid vaccine
SWMBO had Covid booster (Pfizer) and flu jab, one in each arm, at the same time.
Felt rough for 2 or 3 days.
I opted to have them separately.
No side effects.

Sore arm this morning but so far nothing worse. And we went to a mate's birthday party last night and had a dance for the first time since my major heart op last year with no ill effects.

Re: Covid vaccine
Pleased to report no major side effects with the Pfizer booster, just felt faint on one day and a sore arm.
So am very chuffed.
Clearly the astra zenica didn't like me at all.
