I do believe that will be the way of it, he has only ever been loyal to himself.

You know your crap when your Schooled by Watford. I’m not being disrespectful but the difference is in the Coaching, Utd haven’t got a coach worth the name.Manoverboard wrote: 20 Nov 2021, 17:57I do believe that will be the way of it, he has only ever been loyal to himself.

All we talk about is what's wrong with Man U. That's all they will talk about on MotD tonight and that's all you will read in tomorrow's papers.
Stuff United......well done Watford.

Re: Football 21/22
I agree ... you were crap but Watford, unlike United, played like a team and deserved the points. The United losses are down to the players, they turn up and expect to win without putting in a shift.screwy wrote: 20 Nov 2021, 19:03You know your crap when your Schooled by Watford. Re: Football 21/22
Indeed, whoever it is will hopefully be able to coach them into playing as a team and not as a group of individuals.
The owners and board are more interested in how many sponsorships they can sign.Ed Woodward is thankfully leaving,he has been nothing more than a Yes man for the Glazers,he’s a banker not a football man yet made all the footballing decisions ( off field ). Who they choose as interim, seeing as that’s the way they are going will be interesting. Rangnick would be good , he doesn’t want to be full time, then Ten Haag in the summer would be my choice. We wait and see.

United leg end Steve Bruce wants a job. He'll be reasonably cheap as well.

Re: Football 21/22
Just when the game was starting to lose the thugs from years past going to games, athey really shamed our day out at wembley 2020 Euro's..
It is easy now to say the police arrived at wembley late, the stewards came up short, dead easy, ask Captain Hindsite after any event.
Did ANY ONE voice concern prior to the game and was ignored? I doubt it. Seems the findings from the enquiry didn't mention that, only that these problems should have been foreseen. Always the case that the authorities share the blame.
The real blame is with the thugs that stormed Wembley to get in for free. The tag we were trying to shake off from years past was film on TV and shown around the world.
With all the footage available I would hope the Met have a dedicated team taking screenshots of these individuals and over time tracking them down and bringing them to book.

Re: Football 21/22
The cause was restricted attendance and lack of tickets.
It was well known on football platforms that many ticketless fans intended to attend and hope to get a ticket.
When it became obvious that security was virtually non existent, they took a punt on pushing their way in which turned out to be pretty successful.
I’m not condoning the actions, merely pointing out that it was a bit predictable had the football authorities had their finger on the pulse.
It’s called acting on intelligence.
Our security forces do it on a daily basis.

Re: Football 21/22
It was well reported beforehand, certainly many pundits were very critical about the allocation to the 2 finalists. But apparently many thousands of UEFA and regional FA officials and their friends and neighbours had to to be given priority.barney wrote: 03 Dec 2021, 20:29The cause was restricted attendance and lack of tickets.

You don't need to score from open play against us. Just get yourself a free kick or a corner kick and you're almost guaranteed a goal. Disastrous defending. Sort it Brendan!!!

Re: Football 21/22
You haven't commented on that very dubious VAR cancellation of a perfectly good goal. I remember Nat Lothouse's goal against MU in the cup final, when goalies were fair game to be clobbered.oldbluefox wrote: 05 Dec 2021, 20:22You don't need to score from open play against us. Re: Football 21/22
Watford vs Liverpool at the Vic a few years back ... Aka ( possibly ) pinged the ball out of Pool's rooky keeper's hands and a goal was subsequently scored. The goal stood ... HareKlopp complained and the rules were changed.

Re: Football 21/22
Football has laws not rules.......just saying.
I heard somewhere that Michael Oliver was asked to look at the Leeds v Chelsea FA Cup Final replay from 1970. He said that if he had refereed that game he would have given 11 red cards.
The laws have evolved a lot since then and not for the good. Tackling is the main skill that is now almost extinct and goalkeepers are protected far to much. Can you imagine how players like Norman Hunter, Billy Brenner and Ron Harris would fare in today's game. They wouldn't be allowed.
