Thank you all so much. I had an amazing weekend. John died on the day before my birthday last year and so this year was the first anniversary. My two daughters and I, together with my sister-in-law who I've known since we shared a house together when we first started teaching at he beginning of the 1970s stayed at the Royal Crescent Hotel in Bath which was amazing. It was lovely to be all together on Saturday and we tried to celebrate John's life; there were tears and laughter. Then yesterday was my birthday and unknown to me the girls had arranged for a very close friend of mine - in fact someone I was at college with and who then shared the same house with me and my sister-in-law, to meet me at the Pump Room to have afternoon tea together. I hadn't seen her for over 2 years so it was lovely to have some time together to catch up. So a weekend I'll never forget.
