It's amazing what photoshop can achieve with the poorest of photos.

Surely that’s a gross infringement of her publicity?

Trying to upstage other members of the Royal family at Christmas is a big no, no from me

They could have released that picture any other time

Especially since it said "Happy Holidays".
Since they were looking for privacy I don't understand why they should put out this photo of them. Not interested and am very happy for them to stay that side of the ocean and lead their private lives out of the public gaze. No time for the pair of them at all.

“Happy Holidays” is a reference to what Americans (and I dare say their spouses) call the Christmas period.

The photo is a reminder that there is a "happy life" to be found outside the Royal firm family.

I think we all know that Keefie, but if they have
decided they are now americans, then maybe it's about time they finally renounced their links to the royal family.

Apparently Americans use Merry Christmas, Season's Greetings as well as Peace on Earth. Happy Holidays is used so as not to cause offence to non Christians.
So pleased to see the Sussex's are so keen not to cause offence or upset. The very thought!!!

Then give them some credit Foxy…they must have done so of their own volition and not at the instruction of the firm  :) .

You appear to have a downer on all the ladies in my life. First there was Theresa then Liza and now Meghan…. if you think I’m introducing you to my wife you better think again

Harry and Megan have chosen a lifestyle that they believe suits them - fine, but they cannot keep trying to become something that they have turned thier backs on.

Megan was taken to the nation's hearts when she became engaged to Harry. Harry has always had a place in the hearts of the British people. But because being a member of the Royal Family did not live up to Megan's expectations she shunned the British public and Harry does not have the backbone to stand up to her.

They have chosen their way in life so get on with it and stop keep trying to retain something that they have given up on.

I have no time whatsoever for either of them.

I couldn't have put it better. I wish they'd put more effort into their objective of staying clear of the Brirish media. They seem to be failing miserably so far.

As you have allowed yourself the privilege of making unsubstantiated comments about Harry and Meghan, please allow me the same platform to give you, my unsubstantiated version.

Yes’, the public did take Meghan to their hearts, and that is, in my opinion, where the problems started for the couple. I think it fair to say that they took more of the media attention than that of William and Catherine and would in my opinion have continued to do so, but alas, in doing so this caused resentment not only between the couples but also from those whose job it was to maintain the pecking order…after all, one couple were to be the future king with his Queen consort, the other a mere brother of a king with his show girl wife.

There is also the matter of brotherly respect and that I believe was brought into question when rumours of Williams liaisons with Catherine’s best friend were revealed…It has also been suggested that this is where the rift between the two brothers started to get worse…could it have been that principled Harry gave his brother a good talking to about marriage vows? After all it was well known that Harry and Catherine were good friends at that particular time in their lives.

I still maintain the Monarchy would have been much stronger with Harry and Meghan … but hey; sadly this looks increasingly unlikely.
