Could be a cricket score for us today vs Man City away and just 14 fit squad members, many of them deadlegs coming back from Covid. If they collapse like they did against Liverpool we could be in for a bit of a thrashing unless one or two step up to the mark.
Happy Boxing Day.

Result was better than I expected and there were some great performances out there from some of our understudies. We were never going to compete against the (expensive) might of City with such a threadbare squad but in the second half we did make a fight of it so not too disappointe. But I wish they would sort out what we are supposed to do at corners. We are all over the place.

We’ve fortunately had three games on the trot cancelled due to covid which is bad for cash flow but great given the genuine injury crisis.
We should have a few more available when the games are played.
Although we are currently in the relegation zone, I’m confident that we will pull through when the best players are back.

MoB....you will have a bigger gate than 500.

The Palace are at home to Norwich and I can't wait. Especially after missing yesterday's game. I'm definitely going. I'll take a lateral flow in the morning and I'm confident that nobody will get into Selhurst Park without showing their covid pass.

I thought the 500 was only applicable in Scotland, or have I missed something, or maybe Watford have migrated?

Great battling performance against Liverpool tonight. We put out a threadbare defence which has been leaking goals like a sieve but tonight they were magnificent. A well deserved win.

Possibly his players were not wanting to get too close to Leicester players, in case they caught covid. :sarcasm:

We actually managed to field a team with mainly grown ups Saturday and got a respectable point at MK Dons.
Three more senior pros still to return and then we will have a chance.
Young Phillips from de ornets was outstanding Saturday.
Only 20, I doubt he’ll have the guile to play at the top level but will definitely have a career as a footballer.

Maybe he'll be good enough to play in the Championship next season ? ;)

Time will tell Moby.
He’s still pretty raw but nobody can fault his efforts and physicality.
For a young player in a tough division, he doesn’t mind getting stuck in.

Link below for moby

Half time review on our four loan signings

Jamie Cumming - Chelsea - keeper - outstanding, probably the best keeper in league one - the most saves in the division.
Dan Phillips - Watford - midfield - nickname Steely Dan says it all - been in and out due to injuries but when he's played, he's done well.
Dan Adshead - Norwich - midfield - either brilliant or crap, nothing in between - currently out with broken foot - may not see him again in a Gills shirt.
Charlie Kelman - QPR - striker - sent back in November in response to telling the coach to eff off while on the pitch in a EFL cup match. (not good)

New signing from Norwich yesterday - Striker who is top scorer in their under 23 side - time will tell .........

It's good to read what the Gills think, less biased than Watford's I would expect

One of my favourite days if the football season today. FA Cup 3rd round. Palace are away to Millwall but I ain't going, I wanted to but couldn't get a ticket. So I will watch the game on the box, which is live on ITV kick off 12.45 in the bar at Bromley who are at home to Solihull Moors.

Good luck to Palarse 👍
Nobody likes Millwall.
I’ve had a stroke of fortune.
Because our game at home to Ipswich was originally a Tuesday night match, Ifollow will be showing it live for a tenner.
