I can’t think of many/if any things he got right
What about securing vaccines at an early stage and then the vaccine rollout?
Blow me down I’d forgotten about that one….would you like me to post the twenty things he got wrong?
Most of those "20" are only frowned upon by the likes of Ken and Gill, as are his greatest achievements of securing our release from EU bondage, and delivering a massive majority for his party not seen since Maggie's time, and they allowed her to win 2 further massive wins, so I am hoping they allow him more time to achieve the same.

The point I was trying to make is that some PMs have made monumental mistakes but did not attract the same attention from the media that Boris has.
I'm no champion for Boris, many of his problems are of his own making, but he's not the pariah some would have you believe.
As for Brexit all rational Brexiteers accepted there would be bumps in the road along the way, as there have been but nothing like what was predicted by the Remainers.
Ardent Remainers will always blame him for leading us out of the clutches of the EU.

I would like, I do like Boris and he has done some very good things. I would even forgive him for going to / having a party while the rest of us were locked down. But why does he have to lie. It's the lying I can't stand.

Sir Kier (I won't resort to name calling) slaughtered him at PM's questions. All he could say in his defence was wait for the enquiry.

I agree. Wait for the enquiry. What's the point in having one if we prejudge it?

Maybe we should abandon our legal system and trials and let the media and Twitterati decide guilty or not?

To me that is the one and only thing he got right in his tenure ... everything else he has touched he has totally botched up.

You forgot Brexit. You know you're a big fan.

You also forgot testing where we are streets ahead of most of the world. Including the lauded EU. (Source Worldometer).

The problem is they all lie. It's not exactly what they say, it's all contained in what they don't say.

Don’t overestimate what this enquiry will contain. Sue Gray is reporting to Boris Johnson. It’s bizarre that she’s got to report to him to tell him if he went to a party or not, but she’s not an independent investigator, she’s just a civil servant.

I have made similar points ... a few parties, big deal, mountains and molehills ... I would say the majority of people have bent the odd lockdown rule here and there when it has suited them.

If, when the first party was leaked, he had have come clean, apologised and said that he is carrying out a detailed investigation on other events and will report back, I think he would have got away with it. Assuming he has even the most basic ability of being competent, he must have known that the other events were going to be leaked ... yet he chose to lie???

If only he would stop lying, and treating the public like gullible idiots ... it is easy to tell when Johnson is lying, his lips are moving. Even the editor of that news rag, the Daily Mail, referred to people who still believe a word that comes from Johnson as being 'criminally gullible'.
Sir Kier (I won't resort to name calling) slaughtered him at PM's questions. All he could say in his defence was wait for the enquiry.
Indeed, Starmer is really starting to assert authority over Johnson ... who has been severely weakened, but has shown he can be the come back kid.

Getting the excuses in first eh in case she finds in his favour? As I predicted a few posts back.

That is my concern, when, as appears to be the case, her boss gets edit-rights to the report before publishing ... just how much do we really think she will be allowed to find/publish. Maybe that is why Johnson is so smug about it ... the first crony he appointed to do the enquiry got removed because he was one of the attendees.

I hope she gets to the bottom of it, and that she places her integrity and honesty above doing what her boss tells her.

Oh and did I mention unemployment? Lower than G7 average. Much lower than EU average. Gosh we're such a bad country to live in.

Has anybody checked the France case figures yet? Almost half a million in the last 24 hours. How I wish I lived there. So much better than the UK.

I refer the honourable gentleman to my earlier post. I presume the Twitterati have leaked the result to you two. So predictable.

If she finds him guilty I'll accept it. It's clear you two won't have the same grace if she doesn't.

It appears the Queen was made an offer allowing temporary restrictions to be relaxed for the funeral of Phillip. She turned it down.

As I said, it’s not a definitive independent investigation with recommended actions. She’s just doing a report for her boss. There’s nothing for us (the general public) to accept or not.

It’s been hyped up into something that it’s not.
