He did, in century VI quatrain 42 he said

"The lost thing is discovered, hidden for many centuries.
A son of a god will be celebrated for appearing.
This is when the moon of blue completes her great cycle,
But by other rumors he shall be dishonored."

There are more stars in the universe than grains of sand on Earth.

I know you guys are incredibly busy so someone else has done the counting for you

Although I am not sure he factored in the sand I used to level our patio last year ... that could affect the result.

I must have dropped the ball on keeping up with conspiracy theories because a friend was very surprised I did not know this last night.

Apparently there has been a theory that Paul McCartney was killed in a car accident, in the late 60's, and replaced with a look-a-like.

Morbid but cute

In Indonesia there is a tribe that, if a child dies very young (without teeth), it gets buried inside a tree. The child is placed carefully inside a hole that is drilled in the tree trunk and then the hole is covered with a bamboo door. The tree then grows around the child effectively absorbing it.

It is estimated that there are more trees on earth than stars in the milky way ... by a factor of 30:1

Good point Ranchi, I usually hear such things on the radio or talking to friends. For reference here are some links for the last couple of posts of mine

Thanks for that, Kendnhi. It always good to know where an idea came, even if it is just from ‘Phil down the allotment.’ It also gives an intro to novel sources. I had not come across Snopes before.

I didn't know ( until I watched our recorded Crown Jewels prog on TV last night ) that Oliver Cromwell stole / sold / melted down the vast majority of our Crown jewels nor indeed that they were extensively replaced by re-cycling the French ones following the activities of Madame Guillotine during the period of Louis XIV / XV.

Snopes is a great, and respected, source for trying to verify what you heard down the pub. :)

There are approximately 1.4 billion insects for every person on Earth. The total weight of all the insects is about 70 times more than all the people.
