Oh, most definitely custard although not much room in the dish with three slices of roly poly! Oink! Oink!

Ephesus was out of this world
... and Pompeii unbelievable
.. and Ny Alesund
... and icebergs off Greenland
... geysers in Iceland and the smell of sulphur
.. and Spotted d**k, with custard.

Charleston - so genteel, friendly locals, good food & jazz.
New Orleans - especially spending it with our good friends from Florida.
Sharing a bottle of Prosecco at 4pm every sea day in the Lords Tavern (Oriana) with my 3 girlie friends whilst trying (badly) to win the Music Quiz!
Having our Silver Wedding Anniversary lunch in Copenhagen with our Danish friends.

Flying over the Grand Canyon in a helicopter, sailing into Venice, sailing around an iceberg in the Lillihook Fiord near Spitsbergen, visiting Oahu Hawaii, and the geysers and hot springs in Iceland.
Thanks for bringing up this question, gfwgfw - it has brought back some nice memories.

The stillness and solitude of Kongsfjord near Spitzbergen at midnight
Standing in Crow's Nest as we sailed into Valletta (and receiving a call on my mobile asking if I could invigilate and exam at home that afternoon!! Surreal!!)
Likewise standing in Crow's Nest as we sailed out of Venice in the twilight of a drizzly and misty day.

Sailing into Sydney Harbour tops the list for me, never thought I'd get to do that and did shed a tear or three.

Not on a cruise ship, but on the Ferry from Rose Bay to Circular Quay, came round the peninsular from Double Bay, saw the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge and the tears fell.
Others for me are
Flying over the Maldives
Snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef
The day I married my wonderful husband
The birth of my 3 children and grandchildren

The most memorable holiday experience (so far ) has to be a fantastic catamaran ride to an uninhabited island off Antigua. Sun, sea and plenty of rum punch, what more could you want !!!
Venice comes a close second, exactly as I imagined it to be.
