The outside reporters, dotted around the country, on TV this morning barely had a hair out of place ... apart from the one in Felixstowe. They did make a comment that the storm was running a bit behind ... maybe all the paperwork it had to do before entering the country. :)

Strong winds and heavy rain since the early hours and getting worse. The photos of the coast - Porthcawl - are amazing but so dangerous and knowing the mentality of some people they’ll be going to look

Sunbathing with the BBQ on the go here…….I wish

The worst is forecast between 10 and 3 here. At the moment its just breezy with light rain, but the clouds are a gathering with the wind and rain picking up.

I might have to let Mrs S in for a warm if it gets any worse :)

I'm between Southampton and Portsmouth and it's gusting, according to BBC weather app at 75mph. Set to continue until midday when it goes down to 57mph. The sun's actually out at the moment which somehow seems strange. My daughter is staying put in Cornwall at the moment thank goodness. We still worry about our children even when they're in their 40s! I've got a tree in my back garden whose branches are being blown around at the moment but hopefully it'll stay upright! It's due to be pruned, obviously not soon enough!

Why is it it’s the ones with female names that are the worst.?

Asking for Foxy.

Blue skies and pretty calm up here. Hopefully it's passed us by although the barometer is still down on storm.

I just went out to the garage and a sudden gust whipped my Rolex watch right off my wrist.

Can't find it anywhere
