Re: Happy Birthday Kendhni
Thank you all. We had a great evening, albeit somewhat bittersweet. As a surprise, the good lady had arranged to get the full 'old group' together for the first time since 2019 and we all headed out for a meal and a few drinks. We have all up met in smaller groups over the last couple of years but this was the first time everyone managed to get together. Sadly there were 2 empty chairs: my best friend (for over 30 years) who succumbed to cancer at the end of 2019; and another good friend who was murdered last year. We raised a couple of glasses to them and then had a great night.
Unfortunately my boss says I have to work today but my body says it doesn't want to.

I am saving that one for something more important
I have not had a single sick day in over 8 years (maybe I am owed a couple).

Thanks again all. Last night caught up with family and have a very nice night out ... although a couple of groups in the restaurant seemed to be competing on who could be the loudest, a group of lads with incessant 'Whrrouuughhhh', YA BOY YA" and a group of cackling females with their highly exaggerated false laughs ... the spice of life!
