Commiserations Mob. Not the best feeling in the world but it'll be more enjoyable in the Championship. Roll on next season. You'll probably pick up 3 points from my lot who seem to have already packed their suntan lotion and kiss me quick hats ready for their holibobs. They're pretty uninspiring at the moment and have been for some time. Time for a clearout of the dead wood.

Sadly pushing and wrestling seem to be part and parcel of the modern game nowadays. I haven't seen the incident so can't really judge but not sure when shoving off the ball became acceptable - and this from someone who saw some tough tacklers in my time who didn't need a sneaky shove to gain an advantage. This applies to all team.....including my own.

Congratulations to Bristol Rovers who pulled a rabbit out of the hat with an incredible score but you have to feel some sympathy with Northampton who missed out by a whisker and now go into the playoffs.

I will definitely miss Watford. It is always a good day out and normally means three points. Good luck in the Championship MoB. Just try and hang on to your next manager for a year or two.

In Italy Managers come and go, our owners are Italian so there is probably a connection. They believe that changing them is a good plan cos the players very quickly switch off to a voice that they don't connect with. Watford players, for example, speak umpteen different languages and Woy was the first ever manager that Joshua King could speak to in his native Norwegian tongue. Communication is key so I tend to blame the fruitcake in charge of recruitment who, out of interest, is in a semi permanent role. Having said that we are heavily in debt and couldn't afford to buy nor keep our decent players

Rob Edwards from Forest Green Rovers is announced as the new manager in the latest Watford turnstile of managers.
A good job for him but FGR are not happy that he was tapped up and the Hornets didn’t go through the proper channels.
He’s done pretty well with FGR although he did have the biggest player budget in the division after Salford.
Good to see a young manager getting a chance.

Watford's owners have been listening to their fans. Younger and longer term Managers starting from now beit John Eustace or Rob Edwards ... a formal announcements on the Hornet wwwdot confirms Rob got the job.

I do hope us Hornets are not expected to become vegetarians or vegans next season :o

I just hope the players can understand what he's saying. I might be wrong but I don't think Rob Edwards can speak Portuguese or Italian

Well we certainly were not the best team on the night, but we did score the only goal, so we are off to wembley for a chance of PL football again next season. I will be happy for the same outcome on the 29th May.

It can be if you adopt the Norwich policy of not spending huge sums on transfers and massive wages, and accepting your yo yo status. But our experience from our brief PL journey in 2017 was that you can very easily waste money if you don't get your recruitment policy right. Which is why our current team cost nothing, except for Jonathon Hogg who is the only player remaining from our promotion winning team.

Going up via the play off is the best way to win promotion. Enjoy your trip to Wembley.

Take the money and run is my advice.
The Premier League is a cesspit of financial madness.

Win or lose enjoy the day out at Wembley. It's a great experience which makes automatic promotion a bit of a temporary exciting anticlimax. There's nothing to compare with a Wembley final.

Luton played the better football and had more chances but missed them all, we had few clear cut opportunities but Jordan Rhodes scored from a very tight angle.

I’ll be massively supporting your guys Towny.
I have a tiny hate in my heart for Forest because when we relegated from the championship, it was a draw at Forest.
They were already relegated to league one and we was 2-1 up and safe with a couple of minutes to go when one of their players lobbed our keeper from thirty yards. Total fluke in my opinion.
Their fans went mental and spent twenty minutes after the game goading us.
No class.
Nasty bunch.
Hope they lose.

Bitter ?
Me ?
Never.

Nobody can hold a grudge like a football fan.

I've been inclined to support Forest throughout this past season, probably because they loaned Zinger-woosher from us Hornets. Not sure either team are up to the challenge of the Prem but I do wish them well.

I always used to like Liverpool in the 80's and 90' s. However there seems to have come a change in them and their supporters and it's not pleasant.
I was absolutely horrified by their disgraceful behaviour during the playing of the National Anthem and Abide With Me. It was totally disrespectful and I'm not interested why they do it so from now on I'm very much in the Anyone but the Scousers camp. I'll be cheering on Man City and Real Madrid.

Thank you Barney, any support is always welcome, although if Forest are on their A game we will struggle. But even though I agree with Moby that both teams will struggle in the PL, I would rather like another chance.
However if it goes to penalties then, after watching Samba last night, I doubt we will stand a chance.

That lad Brennan Johnson was the best player in league one last season with Lincoln.
