Dan Phillips has been ' released ' by Watford.
I assume Harris will be interested although he may be looking higher than league two.

Sooper, sooper Steve, sooper Stevie Claridge. 👍

Thank goodness it didn't go to penalties because Kalac was absolutely dire.

I was there and had a great day except the bus broke down on the way home and didn't get back until well after midnight. ☹️

Is there any club Steve Claridge didn’t play for.
I recall we had him for a couple of games and he was pretty classy.

At one point we had Ian Marshall and Stevie Claridge playing for us, one of the scruffiest forward lines in the league 😂
And both scored memorable goals for us.

How come neither of Huddersfield's penalty shouts were rewarded with a penalty? Both looked perfectly feasible for me.
Thank goodness Jon Moss has refereed his last game. Just towny's bad luck his team had to suffer him one last time.
Commiserations to towny.

I agree both seemed to border on the plus side to me, and I am fairly certain that VAR would have reversed the Toffolo decision for most top half PL teams. We just have to hope that Carlos can improve the team again for next season, and maybe we can then be in the top two.

Hard luck Huddersfield. Going up via the play offs is the best, if you win them. They can also be very cruel if you don't.

The referee must have paid a visit to the bookies to have disallowed those two penalty calls.

The first was debateable, not a clear and obvious error but the second was stonewall to me.
I agree about John Moss, one of the worst refs out there.

I agree with Screwy regarding the penalty shouts.

On balance I thought Forest edged it but the Terriers can still look forward to beating us Hornets next season, hard luck Towny on both counts ;)

I watched the highlights last night and Huddersfield were robbed. I know how it feels being robbed at Wembley by an incompetent referee it's happened to us twice. I think it's the 'big club, small club' syndrome where the officials favour the bigger club, especially on big decisions. The FA need to sort it but if course they won't.

Both penalty shouts were clear trips, whether accidental or otherwise but trips nevertheless. We have had penalties awarded against us for less than those. Just towny's bad luck to get Jon Moss on his last match and a V AR official who was looking more at his holiday brochures than bothering with a couple of penalty shouts.
Having said that neither side seemed to be offering much in attack. There was some lovely play as far as the penalty area but then the centre halves were dominant and snuffed everything out.

Foxy, I did concede that our team was not up to PL standard, and Forest are not that much better.
£170m sounds a lot of money, but championship clubs need to spend quite a bit on bringing their grounds up to PL standards, and improved squad wages eat into it as well, and transfer fees are always at a premium for newly promoted teams.
So you can very quickly make a big hole in the expected income. It will be interesting to see which of the 3 promoted clubs can make an impact on the PL. But Brighton, Crystal Palace, Newcastle, Wolves and Brentford do provide hope that championship clubs might be able to secure a long term future in the PL.

Don’t worry John, those clubs, Newcastle aside (billionaire owners) will always teeter on the edge.
Newcastle are now an exception but will probably at some time go into decline as the oil money dries up.
Proper, sustainable growth is the way forward.
Down in league one, last season Wigan won the league after being literally bankrupt the season before.
Sunderland came second while posting an £11 million loss (in league one)
The entire pyramid is built on smoke and mirrors.
