Re: Football
Some fans pay hundreds of pounds watching their teams and hoping to see them getting promotion. Dark Knight just buys a new house. His plan was revealed at the end of January when we were going strong. Since discovering his plan we have gone into freefall to ensure there was no chance of promotion. Coincidence or did Nigel Pearson know what he was doing!!!?

I hope Mob's lot don't pip Hull at the post otherwise there could be a quick about turn of the removal van.

Re: Football
Calm down Mobyplod, Foxyplod was just being hypothetical. Of course I would be happy to see the pasta-munchers promoted, and the Eagles, but you'll have to sort it out amongst yourselves.
Welcome to Donny. Hope they get their pitch sorted.
Could it be bye-bye Wolves?

Watching the recording of the Footy League Show I'd say it's curtains for sure, at least it will be if Dean Saunders's body language is echoed by his playersoldbluefox wrote:... Could it be bye-bye Wolves?

Re: Football
Leicester ain't out of it ObF......Strange things can happen in this game surely if Leicester beat Forest and Blackpool beat Bolton then the Foxes can stll make the play-offs and will probably play Watford.
I think...

Re: Football
Mathematically you are absolutely right Paul. Realistically I cannot see them beating Forest and unless a large number of our players find some form we stand little chance in the playoffs either. With a dodgy defence and forwards who couldn't hit a cow's backside with a banjo you can understand why I hold out little hope.
Definitely not ready for the Prem. There are better teams above us who deserve the opportunity. However we have a young side which should improve if we stick by them with a couple of influential signings.
Incidentally what a good job Dougie Freedman has done at Bolton to rescue them from a slippery slope to place them on the brink of the playoffs. He did a good job at Palace leaving a team which Holloway has been fortunate to inherit. Would you agree?

Re: Football
Did anybody see the climax to the Brentford v Doncaster Rovers match? If you made it up you'd be told it was far-fetched. So much lay on Brentford scoring that penalty. To miss was a nightmare but then to see Donny race away and score at the other end was unbelievable.
Now that's why I like about football so much.........................

Congratulations are due to the wonderful Gareth Bale for winning the PFA player of the year and young player of the year awards. I love him with all my heart and will never recover if he leaves us.

Re: Football
A Manc supporting mate of mine reckons old Fergie is going to break the bank to get him close season.
Financed by the sale of Nani, Anderson and half a dozen fringe players
In excess of £50 million or so they say.
The only thing for sure is that he'll go somewhere and for big bucks. The odds on him playing for Spurs next season are virtually nil.
You can almost hear is agents eyes going round - Kerching Kerching

If Leicester play as well as they did when i saw them at Selhurst the other day then they have every chance of beating Forest....don't give up..
Brentford v Donny was something else wasn't it...The ups and downs of being a football fan..literary.
And yes, Dougie has done a fantastic job at Bolton and so as his coaches...Which is why we miss him at the Palace.....However we don't miss his negative tactics.

Woeeee
A huge turnout to cheer the Cherries open top bus parade yesterday to celebrate AFCB promotion
Having seen the highlights of Brentford v Doncaster
A fluke goal scored in the 94 minute- make no mistake about that - deprived Bournemouth the League One silverware
It's a funny ole game
