Good afternoon. I'm looking forward to watching Paul McCartney at Glastonbury tonight.
Well there ain't no football.

Absolutely. I thought he was past it as a singer at the 2012 Olympics. I doubt he's improved in the last 10 years.Jan Rosser wrote: 25 Jun 2022, 17:19Well his voice isn’t that great these days - could be another career for him![]()

Your all wrong, Macca is still an icon. Watch it 10.30 pm BBC 1. He's definitely still got it even though he is 80.

Okay I give in. I stayed up late. I'm watching McCartney now and he's amazing. I'll be very happy if I look that good at 80.
But I still don't like football......

I prefer to remember him as he was, ditto Diana Ross with or without her Supremes.
Keep smiling, it's good for your well being

Re: Last One to Post Wins
I would suggest anyone not get too excited about watching Diana Ross later going by her performance at the Queens celebrations recently.
I feel when these ageing has beens start performing again they’re either getting short of cash or desperate to show they’ve still not got it.

Sir Paul McCartney was absolutely brilliant. To say otherwise says to me you didn't watch it. His voice isn't quite the same as it was but he is 80. Look at the whole thing. The presentation, the music, the atmosphere it was quite superb.
If you didn't like that then what do you like?

With all the backing he has on the stage even I could sound good singing there. We called it a day after the Noel Gallagher set finished
Don't worry, be happy

Re: Last One to Post Wins
She's okay but "Why do fools fall in love?" is the most off key thing I've heard all weekend. And the outfit she first came on in reminded me of one of those dolls they kept their spare toilet rolls under in the 70s.
And the next song is very flat too!
