Maybe it's time for a poll to see who has and has not had Covid.

Still blessedly avoiding it but fear it will eventually be inevitable. Having now had 4 jabs hope that will reduce the effects.

I find it difficult to answer as I am not sure whether I have had Covid or not. I had all the symptoms of Covid before Covid was known to be in the UK.

I've got it right now .... recently posted the following regarding my experience.

Lots of folk have had it of course but say nothing. I will tell you my own experience in case it helps you at a later date. At the outset for me I had something akin to an asthma attack where I couldn't breathe, this was coupled with acute indigestion type symptoms. After that I went into a coma like state, floating in and out to coincide with the need for a pee or a bite to eat. The rest was like the flu but it made me understand better how it must have been for those poor souls who caught it early on and prior to the jabs.

We own a lot to the NHS and Boris for sorting that out for us all.

We both had it in April.
No idea from where but I got it first and being a loving caring husband, made sure that I shared it with my lovely wife.
Neither of us was too bad.
Had worse viruses that didn’t have a name.

Had mine in March despite having been shielded and being meticulous in following every guideline going.
I had had a bad night, rather feverish and woke up with a bad headache and sore throat. Subsequently I tested and went into isolation so as not to pass it on. I remember it was a bed changing day so I stripped the bed of sheets and pillowcases but had neither the strength or desire to make it up so for two nights I slept in the bed as it was. For three days I slept most of the time and ate little. It seemed to go as quickly as it came but it was another seven days before a negative test. The novelty of having all day to read and mess around on the computer soon evaporated and boredom set in. Incredulous how weak it left me.
Had it once and don't want it again.

When you are feeling better you can string it out a bit but don't tell Mobietta I told you that. 😂

Thanks for the heads up plus the ' bed time story ' ... at the moment I wake up in isolation and dare to think that the signs are good and that I must be improving. I transfer to the chair with the TV planner but within 10 minutes I've coughed and sneezed my way through another half a box of snotties.

She's been good and cancelled her art and girls night out in case she passes it on and so far isn't showing any signs, her single test was negative so hopefully it will stay that way. As a reward I've added a second Charlie Bigham Chicken Jalfrezi with our Sainsbugs order on Thursday.

We both picked it up on a recent cruise. Sore throat, a bit of a headache lethargy. Got the single line tests (two after about a week) Generally ok since but lacking a bit of stamina.

I haven't knowingly had it.

I'm doing my best to avoid it. If I do get it, then I will try and avoid getting it a second time, and so on.

As time goes on, the cumulative effect of multiple infections may be significant, so I will try and put off infections as long as possible.

Sorry to hear you are unwell Moby, hope you make a good recovery and don't suffer any after effects
Gill

You may need that extra energy as you take over nursing and cooking duties from mobietta.

We start off tomorrow with a Charlie Bigham Chicken Jalfrezi and then it's wall to wall salad for 15 days so no worries there.
