I can see the lawn starting to scorch a bit so time to get the sprinkler out before there is a hosepipe ban.

It's much cooler up here and living near the sea we always have a bit of a sea breeze which helps to keep the temperature down.
Do you do bed & breakfast :)
No problem Keefy. I'll send you my tariff. Premium rates apply to Lisa/Theresa/lefty leaning types.

It's a sultry 18 degrees here. I might have to take my fleece off.

I'd be lighting the log burner here at that temp.

I posed this question to my wife today….” Darling, do you think we should leave our parked car widows open during the heat wave” She thought it a good idea so I had a look on google and this seems to be the right approach…. I appreciate each individuals parking circumstances may not allow for this.

Friends currently on Aurora are in Tallinn where the weather is described as cold and wet!!
It seems it is not only the tar on the road going into meltdown the media are going as well. We really are a nanny state. What happened to good old fashioned common sense?

Can you let me know what day you plan on doing this Keith and what type of vehicle it is. And if you would be so kind to leave the key or key card inside as it saves all that unnecessary hot wiring. ;)

If we the left the car roof / windows open for any time at all the internals would become a mass of spider webs. Face it away from the sun and prop up a foil screen reflector on the rear shelf.
Keep smiling, it's good for your well being

Ours is now tucked up in the garage. I think it would take more than a foil screen come Monday and Tuesday Moby. Fine if you want to roast some meat at the same time :D

If you fancy clearing a space large enough in our garage then maybe but neither of us two has the energy to even think about it :tired: :tired:

Sounds like when I started in the Prison Service at Aylesbury. Middle of winter and the cons would say “ Cold init Guv.”

I’d reply. “Barbecue weather where I’m from .”

Stephen, you can come any day but if you can’t cover 50 metres in 2.5 seconds, please say hello to Fang and Psycho
